Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of VirtualCubeLeague at virtualcubeleague.com ("the service"). By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. Questions: support@virtualcubeleague.com.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details private. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- One account per person for ranked play.
- Usernames must not impersonate others, or be offensive, hateful, or sexual. We may change or remove usernames that break this rule.
Fair play
Ranked results and leaderboards only mean something if everyone solves for real. You agree not to:
- use macros, scripts, bots, computer solvers, or any automation to make moves;
- tamper with the site, its timing, or the data it sends to our servers;
- use more than one account to manipulate matchmaking or ratings, or arrange results with another player;
- look up a solution to a scramble during a solve.
We check solves automatically and review suspicious ones. We may remove results, reset ratings, or suspend or ban accounts that break these rules.
Acceptable use
Don't harass other players, attempt to break or overload the service, access accounts or data that aren't yours, or use the service for anything illegal.
Our content
The site, its software, and its design belong to VirtualCubeLeague. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial play. VirtualCubeLeague is not affiliated with or endorsed by any puzzle manufacturer.
Your data
Your username, ratings, results, and replays of finished matches are shown to other players as described in our Privacy Policy, which also explains how we handle your data.
Availability and changes
We're a small project and may change, pause, or end features (including ratings and leaderboards) at any time. We may update these terms; if we make significant changes, we'll update the date above and tell signed-in players on the site. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
Ending your account
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@virtualcubeleague.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data (including ratings and results) will never be lost.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, VirtualCubeLeague isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss of data, ratings, or results, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that can't be waived.
